As some will know from the Mardle, we were nominated for one of the Broadland Community awards. There were 96 nominations, from which it was whittled down to 18, in 9 categories. So just getting to the event was a huge accolade in itself . There were many heart warming stories; it was very obvious that in Norfolk volunteering and support of these organisations is huge. Our shed definitely wouldn't be able to do what it does without the support of a strong committee and so many willing volunteers. Ray and I had a lovely evening, it certainly was an an honour to represent Brundall Mens Shed at such a prestigious event. Alas, we came away empty handed, but we are "KNOWN"!
