Some Background
Brundall Men’s Shed (BMS) is a space for men (and now women!) to come together and make and fix things. If that’s not your thing, just come along relax, chat and drink tea.
There are games too – we have an extensive range of board games, darts, pool and a unique Scalextric race track with built-in trains.
Part of why we exist is to reduce isolation in people over the age of 18. We also hope to promote better mental health. We are a branch of the National Men’s Shed Association –https://menssheds.org.uk/
Our activities aim to support our local community, wildlife, environment and conservation. Although we have Brundall in our name, we welcome members from further afield like Blofield, Strumpshaw, Lingwood and surrounding villages.
We were given the keys to our Shed on 2 February 2022 with the fantastic support of Broom Boats. We are a registered charity, reliant on funding from donations and grants. We have a committee of trustees who are also members, so we run ourselves and are responsible for our future. Our tools and equipment have come from donations and grants but we are always looking for more tools and materials to expand what we do.
Opening Times
The shed is open Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, 10:00 to 3pm. Tuesday and Wednesday are men only, and Thursdays are open to men and women. We’re looking to do a women-only day on Friday so watch this space!

Brundall Men’s Shed is located at Broom Boats Marina in Brundall. Come down Station Rd, over the train line and take your first right before the White Heron Pub. Parking is available on the left-hand side of the pebble car park near the river. Once parked up, walk past the Broom Boats reception and down the road between Broom Boats and the railway line. You will find us on your left. The door to our area is indicated by a sign with our logo on it.
