3 volunteers, Simon, Simone and Robin from the East Anglia Air Ambulance (EAAA) came to us on Thursday to conduct CPR training.
As usual from everyone we have dealt with at the EAAA, completely professional. They gave us a comprehensive overview of how the EAAA is funded and their associated costs: Just for an hours flying, £4250. How they obtain knowledge of a situation, either directly from the NHS or by their own staff listening into 999 calls. Then the stats on survival and those who make it. Less than 8% because of a lack of training by those around the poor unfortunate soul. They gave us a practical on how to use a defib followed up with CPR training. For the shed and the age group most definitely worth it.
Thanks again to the EAAA training another 17 shed members
